seriously

i think--which is something i know i overdo-- that i've been saying too many "seriously's" lately....so its either my life has turned into one big joke,or there's simply somehting very wrong with the world..

i had wanted this to be a very long post where i explain-in detail- why i can no longer relate to anyone, but then i realized i just have one simple question i could really use an answer to...am i the only one who's being reminded daily that the city-amman-is running out of decency*?

* decency : any sort of sensible righteous humane behavior, however motivated, and no matter how its carried out.

merci

I Can totally relate to wht u r saying here.. i've livef there for a while myself..(thnkfully.. wasn't long enough to shoot myself).
"My life" made no sense, lack of any external motivation, and in case u had any internal inspiration, there'd always be someone or something to put u off, i'm sorry for everyone one there who actually think they r living...
not that it's make any difference.. but i can tell u r one of those trapped there.. good luck :)

Dozz, to answer the question you asked on my blog: "my one simple question is : what do you call the stitch you apply when you have one piece of fabric, and you need to tidy up the edge, without folding it in any direction, just a free neat stitched edge??"

I believe you're talking about the stitches a serger makes, which is a different type of sewing machine. If you don't have one, you can do a zigzag on the edge with a regular sewing machine.

leeqo,
the thing is,amman will always be my homeland...trapped or not,i'll always miss it and come back..sad.
im intrigued though, what do mean by 'living'?

i mean.. living's become defined by shallow concepts, not just on the outside but the inside aswell, i don't mind the extra concern for the appearances, the hell with that if they can afford it, but i hate the fact it's becoming everything they revolve around...
not to mention the constant gossiping....... like no one's ever smart enough, thin enough, or even stupid enough..
anyway being away from all this.. living more simply, able to do small things which u can't do in amman like reading a book in public, gave me some peace of mind, and brought back some of my senses...
